In the 1st half of 2007, the ICT industry of China still keeps a high speed growth. The statistics from the Ministry of Information Industry of China shows that the whole industry recorded a revenue of RMB2175.16 billion in this period, grew by 18.2% compared with the same time last year. The manufacturing industry caught a revenue of RMB1915.01 billion, grew by 17.6% over the same period of last year. The software industry implemented a revenue of RMB260.15 billion, grew by 23% compared over the same period of last year.
The output of mobile phones in China in 2007 will reach 560 million which composed more than 50% of the global mobile production.
